New Delhi: Two more top executives at Twitter on Thursday joined the exodus of workers leaving the company, taking the chaos happening at the social media company to a fever pitch.

Since Elon Musk took over Twitter weeks ago, the company has laid off more than 50 per cent of the workforce including CEO Parag Agrawal, Legal head Vijaya Gadde.

Heads began rolling from Twitter when Musk began his pursuit of turning around the company to be "profitable", according to reports.

Reuters reported that two key officials Yoel Roth and Robin Wheeler – while the former was the Sr. Director, Safety & Integrity at Twitter, Robin Wheeler headed the Client Solutions team at the firm—have resigned.

Amid reports of exit, Wheeler clarified that she is still part of Twitter but Roth—who was the public face of Twitter after Musk has taken over it— confirmed the reports of his resignation.

Alongside reports said Twitter's chief privacy officer Damien Kieran and chief compliance officer Marianne Fogarty also quit the company.

In the midst of firing officials, Musk reportedly warned of needing more money than it spends to steady the company.

Musk told an internal meeting of employees that bankruptcy is not out of question if there is negative cash flow.

At the meeting Musk reportedly put an end to remote work, directing employees to report to office every single day.
