Back to School mega summer sale kicks off tomorrow at Expo Centre Sharjah

Sharjah: The 4th Summer Sale 2024, organized by Expo Centre Sharjah in collaboration with Liz Exhibition, will run from August 1 to August 11. This event offers a wide range of products, focusing on back-to-school essentials, home appliances, furniture, electronics, footwear, lifestyle accessories, toys and apparel.
“Back to school signifies not just the end to the summer vacation but also a time of new beginnings, such as a new school for some and a new academic year for others but always a new start for all of them with new activities, friends, clubs and others”, said H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah.
He emphasized the event's role in helping parents prepare for the new school year. The sale is a key opportunity for shoppers to purchase household goods and electronics at reduced prices.
Jacob Varghese, CEO of Liz Exhibitions, noted that summer provides a buyer's market with discounts available across various products.
“During the festive season, demand is more, and one ends up paying more. But during the buyer's market like the summer season, one can easily find heavy discounts and irresistible deals on a wide range of products”, said Jacob Vargheese.
The event will feature prominent retailers and brands such as Bellissimo Perfumes, Homestyle, XPression, OMS, Aster Pharmacy, Brand Bazaar, LCW, Baby Shop, Splash, Nine West, Naturalizer, Hush Puppies, CCC, Crayola and Skechers.
With a rise in consumer spending in the UAE, projected to increase further, the event aims to attract more buyers. In 2023, overall consumer spending in the UAE rose by 13%, driven by a 14% growth in the retail sector.
The sale will be open daily from 11 am to 11 pm. Entry is Dhs 5, with free entry for children under 12 and free parking available.
