King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has ramped up its research initiatives with 67 active projects in key fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and bioinformatics. These efforts are part of the university's mission to advance technological innovation and scientific research in Saudi Arabia.

In addition to research, the KAUST Academy training program graduated its second cohort this year. The program offered virtual courses to over 7,000 Saudi students and provided intensive in-person training to 2,800 participants. Furthermore, KAUST awarded scholarships to 200 top-performing students, enabling them to study at leading universities worldwide.

Through partnerships with prominent organizations like the National Cybersecurity Authority and NEOM, KAUST aims to equip students with essential skills for research in critical fields. These initiatives are designed to enhance the technical expertise of the Saudi workforce, positioning the nation as a leader in cutting-edge technologies.
