Saudi: AlUla to operate 27 weekly flights in winter season
text_fieldsAlUla is preparing for a busy winter tourism season with expanded international air links designed to make the heritage destination more accessible.
From October 26 to March 28, AlUla International Airport will receive 27 flights a week, including three weekly Qatar Airways flights from Doha and the return of Royal Jordanian’s twice-weekly service from Amman.
The new schedule strengthens AlUla’s connections to global travellers through Doha’s Hamad International Airport, which serves more than 90 countries. It also strengthens cultural ties between Jordan’s Petra and Saudi Arabia’s Hegra, the country’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The expanded flight network is expected to support tourism growth during the cooler months, when visitors are drawn to AlUla’s desert scenery, luxury resorts and heritage experiences.
