In a heart-warming display of inter-religious unity, former actress Sana Khan and her husband Mufti Anas Sayed made a rare appearance in the media as they attended a mass marriage fest on June 7.

The event, which brought together newly married couples from different faiths, provided an opportunity for Sana and Anas to extend their warm congratulations and share their thoughts on the beauty of marriage and embracing diversity.

Sana Khan, who had announced her departure from the entertainment industry in November 2020 to "serve humanity and follow the order of her Creator," expressed her belief that doing good should transcend religious boundaries.

During her media interaction, she emphasized, "Considering there's mixed religion here, it's even more beautiful. I believe when you want to do good, it should be irrespective of religion. It should be for everybody."

Reflecting on the joys of married life, Sana spoke passionately about the significance of marriage and the positive impact it can have on individuals and society. She shared, "Marriage is the most beautiful thing. There's more respect, security, and love. You want to extend your family and grow, and that's something only marriage can do."

The former actress also praised organizations that help those who cannot afford extravagant weddings, highlighting the importance of facilitating 'halal rishta' (legitimate unions) and preventing young individuals from falling into depression due to delayed marriages.

Amidst the celebrations, Sana Khan, currently in her last trimester, radiated with excitement as she eagerly embraced impending motherhood. Recognizing the profound responsibility of raising a new life, she expressed, "Children are Allah's possession, and they must be cared for. I make an effort to take every action that will benefit the baby."

Sana conveyed her happiness, excitement, and a touch of apprehension associated with becoming a new mom, eagerly anticipating the arrival of her baby by the end of June.

Sana Khan and Mufti Anas Sayed have become well-known for their commitment to religious harmony, often attending various religious events and inspiring individuals to stay true to their faith. The couple's presence at the mass marriage fest served as a powerful testament to their unwavering dedication to promoting unity and understanding among different communities.
