New Delhi: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) detained a US national who was allegedly carrying six live bullet rounds in his baggage at the Delhi International Airport, PTI reported citing sources’ accounts on Wednesday.
The passenger was caught on May 22. He was about to fly to Helsinki onboard a Finnair flight from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. He was handed over to police and had been booked under sections of the Arms Act.
The passenger has now been released on bail, they said, adding the bullets were of the Hornady 357 Mag calibre.
