'Make India No.1': Kejriwal launches new initiative focusing on education, healthcare
text_fieldsNew Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi and the leader of the AAP, on Tuesday announced a nationwide initiative to elevate India to the top spot in the globe and invited all individuals and political groups to join.
To accomplish this, he continued, affordable healthcare and education for all residents are necessary, as are jobs for young people, equal rights and respect for women, and fair prices for farmers' produce.
As part of the aim to "Make India No. 1," Kejriwal said he will travel across the nation to inspire people to get involved and help the project reach its goals.
He said that the mission is apolitical in nature, PTI reported.
"This is not the mission of a political party, it's a national mission. I call upon the BJP and all other parties to come forward and join this initiative to make India the number one country in the world," the chief minister said.
Many countries like Singapore got independence after India but are ahead of us.
Why is India lagging behind despite Indians being the "most intelligent and hard-working in the world", Kejriwal asked.
