Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah claimed on Wednesday that the INDIA bloc will soon form the government at the Centre, predicting that the ruling NDA would not complete its five-year term.

He also condemned the BJP for recent statements targeting former Congress President Rahul Gandhi.

During a press conference at his residence, Siddaramaiah expressed his belief that the Modi-led government is on shaky ground, stating, "We have reached 100 seats and will soon form a government. I don’t believe Modi will complete five years."

He based his prediction on ongoing political developments, including the possibility of the JD(U) and TDP withdrawing their support from the NDA, which could destabilize the current government.

Siddaramaiah dismissed BJP's claims that his own government in Karnataka may collapse, asserting that with 136 seats in the state assembly, there is no threat to his administration.

The Chief Minister also accused BJP leaders of issuing threats against Rahul Gandhi, driven by their inability to cope with Gandhi’s rising popularity. Referring to remarks made by BJP leaders like Tarvinder Singh Marwah, Ravneet Singh Bittu, and Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad, Siddaramaiah highlighted direct threats against Gandhi’s life, including assassination references.

Siddaramaiah condemned these threats and urged the authorities to take strict action against those responsible. He insisted that the Congress party would not tolerate such attacks on Rahul Gandhi and demanded criminal cases be filed against the individuals making these statements.
