Bhandra/Maharashtra: Uddhav Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT) came down on Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday, slamming him, saying that India lost the last match of the ODI World Cup 2023 because of Shah’s love for his son Jai Shah. Uddhav said that he has not shown love to his son like Shah did, Free Press Journal reported.

Uddhav was reacting to Shah’s mockery that Shiv Sena split because of Uddhav’s love for his son. Shah had also said on Sunday that NCP split because of Sharad Pawar’s love for his daughter.

Generally, the final matches of the World Cup were played in Mumbai, Delhi or Kolkata, but the last World Cup final was played at Ahmedabad in Narendra Modi Stadium, and Jai Shah was the president of BCCI (Board of Control of Cricket in India) at that the time.

Uddhav continued with his attack, saying that Shah must leave Shiv Sena to itself and go to the farmers of Vidarbha, who are in dire conditions due to unseasonal rains.

Further, he thrashed Shah over Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s remarks. He said that when Shah said the BJP did not split the Shiv Sena or the NCP on one side, his disciple Fadnavis on the other claimed that he broke the two parties and came ahead. He slammed that BJP should at least care to be in one line before making statements in public.

Uddhav then turned against the state government over the attack on Salman Khan’s house. He alleged that the government has no control over goons so that anyone can come and use arms at will. Even then, they seek for votes from people, he said.
