Entertainment: The producers of the legendary ‘Premam’, have scheduled to re-release it after ten years. The movie is coming to the big screen on Thursday, February 13, as a special release on Valentine’s Day.

The makers announced that the film will be re-released on February 13, 2026. They shared the update saying, “‘PREMAM’ is re-releasing on this Valentine’s Day, celebrate love on the big screen. Fall in love with it all over again,” via social media.

The movie, which garnered heavy stardom for actor Nivin Pauly, also stars Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameswaran, and Madonna Sebastian, and was directed by Alphonse Puthren.

Premam first hit the theatres in 2015. At that time, Premam was able to create a big stir in Tamil Nadu as well as Kerala. George, who wore a black shirt, white mundu with black border, and Miss Malar, who spoke Malayalam with a Tamil accent, are still etched in the minds of Malayalis. This film was a big break in the careers of Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameswaran, and Madonna Sebastian.

Along with Nivin Pauly, the film also stars Krishna Shankar, Shabarish Varma, Siju Wilson, Anant Nag, Vinay Fort, Soubin Shahir, Anju Kurian, and others in pivotal roles.

A limited re-release of the film has been arranged through the PVR Inox theatre chain. The film will be released in 14 centres in four South Indian states, including Kerala, from February 13. Release centres include Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, Chennai and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, Bengaluru and Mangalore in Karnataka, and Hyderabad in Telangana.
