Pathaan tickets to be made available for sale from 25th onwards
text_fieldsFans learned that they could get tickets to see Pathaan in the IMAX 2D, standard 2D, and 4DX formats two days before it was scheduled to be made available for pre-booking. Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, is the first significant Bollywood film to be released in 2023. Since this is Shah Rukh's first leading part in more than four years, anticipation for the movie's release is considerably higher.
Beginning on the 25th, tickets are available for all three types. Depending on the location and format, prices vary. On opening day, IMAX tickets in Delhi cost between Rs 490 and Rs 2200; over the weekend, the price range drops to between Rs 400 and Rs 2200.
Prices for the 2D format range from as little as Rs 80 in the morning to Rs 2000 in the evening on the first day. On the first day, the 4DX format costs between Rs. 450 and Rs. 800.
In Mumbai, IMAX tickets for the first day of the film range in price from Rs 350 in the morning to Rs 1450 in the evening. Over the weekend in Mumbai, prices are unchanged. On opening day, the cheapest 2D ticket is Rs 180, while the most expensive is Rs 850. In certain Mumbai theatres, there are as many as 15 performances scheduled for one day. Tickets for laser-projected IMAX theatres and those with Dolby Atmos and Dolby 7.1 sound systems cost extra in Mumbai.
While one venue is showing the IMAX version in Laser, no theatre in Delhi is currently labelling which auditoriums are Atmos-equipped, Indian Express reported.
Kamal Gianchandani, CEO of PVR, announced on Twitter that the movie can “easily rack up more advances than any other film post-Covid.” He wrote, “#PathaanAdvanceBooking has started with a bang! We haven’t seen anything like this for a while🎬 it will easily rack up more advances than any other film, post-Covid. Much needed boost for the industry @yrf @_PVRCinemas.”
Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and others are featured in the Siddharth Anand-directed film Pathaan. A shared world of spy movies made by Yash Raj Films will launch with this movie. To build for a prospective team-up movie, the franchise will also feature Salman Khan's Tiger films and the Hrithik Roshan-starring picture War. Salman has stated that he will play Tiger in Pathaan, and Shah Rukh reportedly recorded a cameo as Pathaan for the upcoming Tiger 3 film. Hrithik hasn't acknowledged or denied his involvement in the film, although it's commonly believed that his character Kabir will appear in a cameo. According to reports, Pathaan will debut on Prime Video in April.
