Malappuram(Kerala): It is not the Gujarat model which needs to be implemented in Kerala, but the Kerala model which needs to be implemented across India, says CPI national executive member Kanhaiya Kumar. Kumar was addressing a public meeting in Pandikkad, Malappuram, as part of the election campaign for LDF candidates VP Sanu and Nasar Debona of Malappuram and Manjeri, respectively.

He also said that Narendra Modi's NDA government and Congress brewed up lies but couldn't implement welfare schemes. CPM district committee member P Radhakrishnan chaired the meeting while leaders including the candidate Nasar Debona, PP Suneer, Saaju, K Haridasan, PK Mubashir, NT Haridasan, Puliyodan Muhammed, VP Mukthar Nihas, and MK Subair addressed the public.
