Mumbai: Indian women cricketer won the hearts of many with her exciting dance moves on the field during the match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) at the WPL 2023 match here on Sunday.
In her debut match of the inaugural edition of the tournament, her team DC won by 60 runs.
During the match, she was fielding near the boundary rope and danced whenever music played in the stadium. She did not seem hesitant in showing her dance moves, which included Bhangra.

The cricketer later retweeted videos of her dancing by fans, expressing her excitement from the day's victory.
Her video had gathered thousands of likes and comments. A user wrote, "Lovely... need more characters like you on the field.. Cheers." "This was better entertainment than the opening ceremony of the WPL," another joked.
Rodrigues knocked a valuable 22 off 15, contributing to her team's victory. For DC, DC captain Meg Lanning and Shafali Verma made the ground blazing, the former scoring 72 off 43 and the latter 84 off 45. Lanning smashed 14 boundaries, while Verma had ten boundaries and four over-the-fences. The third batter in, Marizanne Kapp, was also merciless, hitting three sixes and fours each to score 39 off 17 not out. The team score had reached 223 in 0 overs.
RCB, who won the toss but sent DC to bat, took a bad decision there, it seems. In the chase, RCB fought back fair but ran out of overs in 163/8, with only three batters scoring above 30.
