President Sheikh Mohamed of the UAE and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi engaged in high-level discussions during a private visit to New Alamein City, Egypt.
The talks focused on reinforcing the strong ties between the two nations and exploring opportunities for expanding bilateral partnerships. They also addressed regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The leaders toured New Alamein City, where they were briefed on key landmarks and development projects. Sheikh Mohamed's visit concluded after several days, with President El Sisi seeing him off at El Alamein Airport.
The two leaders frequently meet to support the longstanding friendship between the UAE and Egypt, having last convened in March to discuss further collaboration in economic, development and political areas.
