Sharjah has announced a significant decision revising the fees associated with the release of impounded vehicles, applicable to all vehicle types and their respective owners or drivers. The changes target cases where vehicles were seized due to severe violations, such as reckless driving and negligent behavior that endangers public safety and property.
While the specific fees under the revised structure have yet to be disclosed, the decision aims to streamline the process for returning impounded vehicles once the legal impoundment period has concluded. This move underscores the emirate's commitment to reinforcing road safety while providing clear regulatory pathways for vehicle owners.
