Sharjah Police showcase AI, smart security systems at Abu Dhabi summit

Sharjah Police showcased their artificial intelligence and advanced security capabilities during their participation in the Abu Dhabi Global Sustainable Security Summit and ISNR Abu Dhabi 2026.

Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, said during a panel discussion that effective security depends on strong cooperation between institutions and the community, supported by awareness and shared responsibility.

He said the UAE’s leadership and proactive security strategies have strengthened public safety and quality of life while reinforcing the country’s standing as a global model for security and stability.

During the event, Sharjah Police presented a range of smart technologies and security systems developed through its innovation programs.

The showcase included cybersecurity and digital case management laboratories, AI-powered traffic safety systems, operational drones, advanced radar technologies and rapid-response emergency vehicles.
