Dubai International Marine Club will begin its 2026 competitive calendar on Saturday by staging the third round of the Dubai 43-foot sailing race.
The event has attracted strong participation from prominent boat owners, skippers, and sailing crews from across the UAE. Registration remains open through the club’s designated online platforms, with interest continuing to grow ahead of the race.
Mohammed Hareb, Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, said the race falls within the organisation’s 2025–2027 strategic plan. He explained that the strategy focuses on safeguarding the UAE’s maritime heritage while expanding the scope and quality of marine sporting events.
He added that recent changes to certain technical measurements have led to more competitive races, contributing to higher performance standards and improved overall race quality.
The third leg of the Dubai 43-foot sailing race continues the club’s efforts to combine traditional sailing practices with structured competition, supporting the ongoing development of marine sports in Dubai.
