Guests travelling to private yachts and boats in Dubai will now be able to reach their vessels directly from selected marinas under a new marine transport service introduced by Dubai Maritime Authority.
The service, titled "Dubai Sea Guests Pick-Up and Drop-Off", is designed for owners and guests of private boats registered in Dubai as well as foreign yachts visiting the emirate.
Operations have already begun at Port Rashid Marina, Jumeirah 1 Marina, Dubai Harbour Marina and JA Hotel Marina, with services available around the clock through marina operators.
The initiative addresses a practical challenge for yacht owners and visitors by providing organised transport between marina facilities and vessels anchored in Dubai waters.
Authorities said users will be required to submit documents, including proof of ownership and, for foreign vessels, valid sailing permits, before using the service.
Dubai Maritime Authority said the programme currently serves a maritime sector that includes 3,491 registered private marine vessels, alongside visiting foreign yachts operating under approved permits.
Mohammed Nabhan, Director of Maritime Excellence and Compliance at Dubai Maritime Authority, said the service would improve movement between marinas, leisure destinations and private vessels while enhancing the overall visitor experience.
He said the initiative also supports the integration of marine tourism, hospitality and recreational activities across Dubai.
The launch comes as Dubai continues to expand its position in the international yachting sector. The emirate is home to 20 marinas offering more than 4,214 berths, many designed for luxury yachts.
Dubai Maritime Authority also processed 210 permit applications from foreign visiting yachts during 2025.
Officials said the service forms part of wider efforts to strengthen Dubai's maritime tourism offering and improve services available to boat owners, visitors and guests using the emirate's waterfront facilities.
