'Birds of Goodness' executes 20th humanitarian aid airdrop in north Gaza

The Joint Operations Command of the Ministry of Defence announced the successful execution of the 21st airdrop of humanitarian and relief aid as part of the ongoing "Birds of Goodness" operation.

In this latest airdrop mission, two C17 aircraft from the UAE Air Force and a C130 aircraft from the Egyptian Air Force collaborated to deliver essential aid supplies. The concerted efforts of these aircraft highlight international cooperation and solidarity in addressing humanitarian challenges.

The airdrop operation targeted inaccessible and isolated areas in the northern Gaza Strip, where humanitarian needs are most acute. Through the coordinated efforts of the participating aircraft, a total of 82 tonnes of food and relief aid were delivered directly to the affected communities. This substantial aid delivery seeks to alleviate suffering and provide essential support to those in crisis.

With this latest airdrop, the total amount of aid delivered through the "Birds of Goodness" operation has reached 1,071 tonnes since its inception.

The "Birds of Goodness" operation is an integral part of "Operation Chivalrous Knight 3," a broader initiative aimed at supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Through strategic humanitarian interventions like the airdrop missions, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 seeks to provide crucial aid and uphold the dignity of affected communities amidst ongoing challenges.
