Riyadh: Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, chaired on Sunday in the capital, Riyadh, the Preparatory Meeting of Foreign Ministers Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit, which is scheduled to be held today, Monday.
This summit comes as a continuation of the joint Arab-Islamic summit held in Riyadh on November 11, 2023, and based on the generous directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and in continuation of the efforts exerted by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister and in coordination with the leaders of the Arab and Islamic countries.
The meeting included discussions on the agenda for the upcoming summit and deliberated on key issues set to be addressed.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Engineer Waleed ElKhereiji, Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs, and General Supervisor of Public Diplomacy Deputyship Dr. Abdulrahman AlRassi, and the Director-General of His Highness's Office, Abdulrahman Aldawood.
