The General Directorate of Passports at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah has processed the first flight of Hajj pilgrims arriving from Türkiye for the 1447 AH season, marking the start of international arrivals for this year’s pilgrimage.
Authorities said preparations are in place to manage arrivals across air, land and sea entry points. The directorate has deployed technology systems and trained personnel to handle procedures and maintain service standards during the Hajj period.
Officials said the measures are aimed at ensuring a smooth entry process for pilgrims as arrivals increase in the coming days.
