During the event, Dr Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah announced several measures to ensure the quality Umrah experience of visitors from the UAE. UAE residents can now avail themselves of multiple-entry e-visas, extending their stay in Saudi to 90 days per year. By launching three weekly flights from Dubai to Medina and increasing the number of daily flights during Ramadan, Saudi Arabian Airlines aids the pilgrim journey from UAE. FlyNas optimized its flight schedule, offering low-cost flights from Abu Dhabi to Jeddah and Medina, alongside increased frequencies of flights on the routes.

The ‘Nusk’ event was aimed at introducing the comprehensive services and facilities available to the guests of Al Rahman, a Saudi Vision 2030 project focusing on improving the experiences of Umrah and Hajj pilgrims. The introductory event was attended by over 400 commercial partners representing travel, tourism, Umrah/Hajj companies and agencies operating in the sector.

As part of the event, ‘Nusuk’ organized an immersive exhibition at Dubai Festival City Mall, showcasing cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) technology to visitors of diverse nationalities. The exhibition continues for four days, until the 17th of February, featuring distinctive Islamic historical stories. It includes the pavilion of a UAE-authorized agency providing certain Umrah packages to interested visitors.

‘Nusuk’ Aims Residents and Visitors from UAE

By enhancing significant opportunities and supporting the private sector of both UAE and Saudi, ‘Nusuk’ introductory meeting envisions building bridges of communication and cooperation between the two nations.

“The UAE is considered one of the most important Gulf markets in the Umrah sector. We aim through these meetings to facilitate the journey of Umrah performers and visitors from UAE residents”, says Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority and Managing Director of 'Nusuk'.

The event attained positive responses and interactions from both pilgrims and visitors, along with travel service providers in the UAE market.
