Muscat: Indian School Muscat (ISM) is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary with a series of events and activities planned throughout the Jubilee year. Established in 1975, ISM has become a symbol of academic excellence and cultural diversity in Oman, serving as a cornerstone of the Indian expatriate community in Muscat.
ISM@50, themed "Celebrating the Past & Empowering the Future," marks a significant achievement in the institution's history, highlighting five decades of progress and community engagement. The year-long celebration, from April 2024 to March 2025, promises to captivate attendees with a diverse array of cultural performances, talks, exhibitions and reunions. Highlights of the festivities include inspiring talks by distinguished speakers, inter-school events, community service activities, staff engagement initiatives, alumni reunions and a grand gala fair.
The Jubilee celebrations aim to bring together all stakeholders, including the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman, the ISM Management Committee, alumni, parents, staff, students and the wider community. Through collaborative initiatives such as blood donation camps and cultural exhibitions, ISM reaffirms its commitment to social responsibility and community service.
