Muscat: Nesto Hypermarket, one of the GCC's rapidly expanding retail chains, has opened its 17th store in Oman and 129th globally with the launch of Bilad Mall on Salam Street, Mabella. The inauguration, held on September 18, 2024, was led by His Highness Asiyyed Faher Fatik Al Said.
Bilad Mall covers 215,000 square feet and is designed to offer a modern shopping experience. It includes 40 checkout counters, over 750 parking spaces and various facilities aimed at making it a key destination for families in the area.
The mall also features the Nesto Home section, providing home essentials, along with several dining options, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants. A kids' play centre named Fun Today adds an entertainment aspect for young families.
Speaking at the opening, Nesto Hypermarket’s Regional Director, Mr. Haris Palollathil, said, "We are thrilled to bring Bilad Mall to the heart of Mabella. This is a significant milestone in Nesto’s journey, and we are committed to delivering unmatched retail experiences with top-quality products and services for the local community".
Bilad Mall serves as a one-stop shopping solution, housing a variety of retail outlets. Nesto has further expansion plans in Oman, with five more projects slated for the next two years.
