Jasem Albudaiwi, the Secretary General of the GCC, revealed plans to travel to Brussels to address the issue of Schengen visa exemption. He emphasized the importance of GCC countries having a "strong file" on the matter.
“Our presence, as Gulf citizens, in Europe is positive in terms of education, tourism, medical treatment, purchases or trade exchange,” Albudaiwi told Saudiah TV Channel.
He argued that GCC countries, known for stability and positive exports, deserve exemption from the Schengen visa.
