CPI district secretary KP Suresh Raj had stated in an interview with a news channel that he would accept Sandeep Warrier if he accepted the policy and program of the party. The CPI also did not deny the reports that it had spoken to Sandeep Warrier.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Prakash Javadekar responded that an irrelevant leader is going to an irrelevant party.
