Hyderabad: AIMIM leader and MP Asaduddin Owaisi responded to BJP leader Navneet Kaur Rana's call that Hindus in the country should give birth to three or four children, asking who is stopping her from having more children. He said he has six children, and no one is stopping Navneet Kaur from giving birth to four children.
"I have six children, who's stopping you from having four children?" Owaisi questioned.
He continued that in Maharashtra, people with more than two children are not allowed to contest in Panchayat elections. Telangana also had this law, but it has been removed. So no one will stop her, he repeated. Owaisi also reminded that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had talked about having more than three children in the presence of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Maharashtra BJP leader Navneet Kaur Rana has called for all Hindus to have at least three or four children, claiming that it will prevent India’s population structure from becoming like that of Pakistan. She claimed that Maulanas have four wives and 19 children. Muslims are trying to turn India into Pakistan.
"I appeal to all Hindus. Listen, these people openly say they have four wives and 19 children. I suggest we should give birth to at least three to four children. I don't know whether he is Maulana or someone else, but he said he has 19 children and four wives, but he could not complete a quorum of 30 children. They plan to turn Hindustan into Pakistan by giving birth to children in large numbers, so why should we be satisfied with just one child? We should also give birth to three to four children," NDTV quoted the leader.
Congress had come forward against Kaur's remarks. Congress MP Manickam Tagore demanded that such crazy thinking of the RSS and BJP should end.
