Will continue questioning Arvind Kejriwal: BJP leader Bagga

New Delhi: BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga said on Wednesday that he would continue questioning Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, PTI reported.

"I will continue to ask Kejriwal questions whether one or 1,000 cases are registered against me," said Bagga at the Delhi BJP office.

He claimed that he was arre3sted for asking Kejriwal about his promises of actions against the Guru Granth Sahib sacrilege case accused, the drug mafia and Khalistani separatists in Punjab.

Addressing a press conference- the first after his dramatic arrest involving Punjab, Haryana and Delhi police- he said that Punjab Police arrested him like a terrorist for questioning Kejriwal.

The Punjab Police had arrested him from his Janakpuri residence, while Delhi Police registered a case of kidnapping. At Kurukshetra, Haryana Police stopped Punjab Police, who were transporting Bagga. Later, Delhi Police brought him back to Delhi, staging a big drama for headlines.

On Tuesday, the Haryana and Punjab High Court directed Punjab Police not to arrest Bagga till July 5.

BJP Delhi president Adesh Gupta, who welcomed Bagga after the drama, said that Kejriwal, who came with an intention to change politics, has changed himself. He has shown his real character and face to the public, Gupta said. Instead of using the police against Khalistan separatists and drug mafia, Kejriwal went after Bagga, he alleged.

The Aam Aadmi Party has the power of Punjab and Delhi. Bhagwant Singh Mann got elected as CM in Punjab in the recent assembly elections.
