‘We’re good’: Israel reacts to list of countries denying entry to citizens

New Delhi: The official X handle of the State of Israel wrote “we’re good” responding to a post carrying a list of countries that deny entry to Israeli passport holders, NDTV reported.

The countries listed on a page called World of Statistics are Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Yemen.

However, Israeli citizens require special permit from Israeli Ministry of Interior to visit Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Iran after Israel reportedly designated them as enemy countries.

The United Arab Emirates is one of the only Middle Eastern nations allowing visa-free travel for Israelis.

The list has generated copious responses on social media with one user saying ‘So literally nowhere important.’

Another user was quoted as responding: ‘'I don't even have an Israeli passport and I don't want to go to those countries’.

According to the Henley Passport Index, Israeli passport ranked 20 th in the world, as Israeli citizens gets visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry to 171 countries and territories.

Israeli passport holders can have visa-free entry to most of European nations within and without the European Union, as well as most of Latin America and the Caribbean.

In some countries where Israeli citizens require a visa are China, India and the United States.
