Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) has earned a spot in the 251-300 band of Times Higher Education’s Asia University Rankings 2026, cementing its position among India’s top 20 institutions. The rankings evaluate 929 universities across 36 countries on teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook.
UoH excelled in academic reputation and publication volume, driven by standout research in chemistry and life sciences that boosted its global citation impact. The university also reported steady growth in industry income through rising consultancy and patent activity, alongside strong performance in attracting diverse talent and forging international ties.
