Three suspects in Tiger Shroff firing case arrested in Rajasthan’s Kota

Three men suspected of firing at actor Tiger Shroff’s vehicle in Mumbai have been arrested in Rajasthan’s Kota, police said on Monday.

The arrests were made by a joint team of the Rajasthan Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and Kota City Police while the suspects were travelling on the Pune-Jaipur Express. The action followed inputs shared by the Mumbai Police, which had traced the men using CCTV footage.

Kota City Police Superintendent of Police Tejasvini Gautam said two of the arrested men allegedly fired at Shroff’s vehicle, while the third was a bike taxi driver.

The development came hours after Mumbai Police registered a case against three unidentified persons for allegedly firing five rounds at Shroff’s vehicle near Pushpa Narsee Park in Vile Parle around 7 pm on Sunday.

Shroff escaped unhurt in the attack. His driver, Firdosh, and a bystander, Umesh Chavan, sustained bullet injuries. Police have recorded the driver’s statement, and both the Mumbai Police and the Crime Branch are investigating the case.

A social media post claiming responsibility on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is also being examined. However, police have not verified the claim or established any connection between the accused and the gang.

Following Sunday evening’s incident, Mumbai Police had formed 15 teams to trace the shooters.
