Patna : This time, Bhojpuri Singer Neha Singh Rathore is back with a more virulent number hitting hard at NDA regime in Bihar.
Her new song, released on Thursday, is an extended version of her earlier one " Bihar Mein Ka Ba" meaning what is in Bihar.
That was her response to BJP's number "Bihar Mein E Ba" (this is in Bihar) released by the party's IT cell on October 13.
The BJP leaders and its star campaigners widely promoted this song.
Neha's new song "La Suna Jabab, Ka Ba Bihar Mein" is a reply blow by blow to BJP's number.
The song highlighted the lack of medicines, statures, ventilators, ambulances, and medical and paramedical staff at hospitals across Bihar.
They (NDA leaders) are long on promises but nothing happening. They have strong ties with 'Bahubalis' (strongmen), but have nothing to do with the poor people; they just want to retain in power, her new song alleged.
The singer, who has been critical of the NDA government in Bihar, highlighted what she called the depleting law and order situation in the state, and the 'callous attitude' of the NDA government in handling the migration issue.
The Bhojpuri singer's challenge could have great implications in Bihar politics. Many political experts believe the clash could hurt the NDA regime in the upcoming Assembly polls in the state.
"Singers and poets are generally critical about the ruling government. It is perhaps for the first time that a political party -- the BJP -- which claims to be largest in the world, has replied to a singer. Here the singer has nothing to lose," said Saroj Yadav, a Patna-based political expert.
