Cockroach Janata Party: 'Anti-India tech cynicism', says RSS mouthpiece

New Delhi: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has launched a fierce attack on the rapidly growing Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), dismissing the viral digital protest movement as a “politically engineered” campaign rather than a spontaneous youth uprising. In a blistering editorial published in its mouthpiece Organiser, the RSS accused the movement of being part of a “freebie-centric, Left-leaning political ecosystem” aimed at weakening national confidence.

The editorial, titled “Cockroach Syndrome: The new face of anti-India tech cynicism”, described the CJP’s agenda as “a terrifying blueprint for institutional collapse, masquerading as youthful digital rebellion.” It attacked the group’s demands, including invoking anti-terror laws against election officials, banning party-switching politicians and reserving 50% of Cabinet posts for women. Organiser claimed such proposals reflected “a complete, frightening ignorance of constitutional governance” and were merely “hollow slogans designed for social media engagement.”

The RSS publication also condemned the CJP’s demand to cancel media licenses owned by the Adani Group and Reliance Industries groups, branding it “textbook, Stalinist communist censorship” and “a vicious, targeted attack on domestic capital.”

Invoking Chanakyan statecraft, the editorial argued that India’s youth were being “deliberately lured into manufactured despair rather than productive labour.” It further accused the CJP founder of idolising American tech culture while attacking the very corporations capable of building India’s semiconductor ambitions.

The movement erupted after Chief Justice of India Surya Kant reportedly referred to unemployed youth as “cockroaches” and “parasites” during a hearing. Abhijeet Dipke soon transformed the remark into a satirical protest platform that rapidly gained millions of followers online.

Authorities responded aggressively. The CJP’s X account was withheld in India within days, while Dipke claimed his social media accounts were hacked, and the movement’s official website was taken down.
