New Delhi : Today, poll strategist Prashant Kishor lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for commenting that the results of the 2022 election gives a good indication of the results of the 2024 election, saying that the "battle for India" would be decided in 2024.
"Battle for India will be fought and decided in 2024 and not in any state elections Saheb knows this! Hence this clever attempt to create frenzy around state results to establish a decisive psychological advantage over opposition. Don't fall or be part of this false narrative," Prashant Kishor tweeted today morning.
The results of the state elections in UP yesterday "gave a glimpse" of what the outcome of the general elections in 2024 will be like.

Saheb knows this! Hence this clever attempt to create frenzy around state results to establish a decisive psychological advantage over opposition.
Don't fall or be part of this false narrative.
"Many people had said that the fate of the 2019 general election was decided when the 2017 Uttar Pradesh election result was declared. All I can say is that the same thought applies now too... the 2024 general election result can be seen in the result of the 2022 UP election," the PM said yesterday addressing the crowd at the BJP headquarters in Delhi.
In Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur, the BJP defeated the Congress despite predictions of close contests.
BJP leaders cited yesterday the party's victory in UP as proof that whoever wins in UP wins the election nationwide. UP, India's most populous state, has 80 Lok Sabha seats.
His election campaign for the BJP in 2014 gained him fame. However, he has evolved into an opposition player in recent years, working with leaders like Mamata Banerjee and MK Stalin.
