Hagpur: In a chemical factory fire in Dhaulana in Uttar Pradesh, eight people lost life. Police and fire units had rushed to the site, and rescue attempts are going on, NDTV reported
According to police spokesman Surendra Singh's account to Reuters, a boiler burst at the industrial facility in Dhaulana, which is 60 kilometres from New Delhi.
Many workers of the factory suffered injuries.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adithyanath expressed his condolences through his official Twitter handle. The CM's office tweeted that Adithyanath had issued orders directing the district administration to reach the spot and monitor rescue-relief operations. Also, to provide all possible aid to the victims' families, the tweet said.
