Vipul Shah looks for fresh talent for Commando OTT show

Mumbai: Filmmaker-producer Vipul Shah has launched the hunt for his new commando. The director is known for encouraging new actors, and he is looking for aspiring actors to play the lead in his highly anticipated OTT series Commando.

Shah produced the movie franchise of the same name which is known for top-notch action sequences. The first film released in 2013, Commando: A One Man Army introduced an Indian Commando named Karanveer 'Karan' Singh Dogra played by Vidyut Kammwal. The sequels further followed his other missions.

Now, the story is set to be adapted into a show for Disney+ Hotstar. Shah is looking forward to retelling the action story in a new format. Fans are eager for the OTT show as it is said to show the Para SF Captain's adventures in finer detail and life in a closer look.

Casting director Mukesh Chhabra's Casting Company is conducting open auditions for actors. The production house is looking for male actors in the 25-30 age group. He must be fluent in Hindi and trained in some form of martial arts. The actor must also be physically fit to play a commando.

Aspiring actors are asked to send their introduction video, action reel, and monologue to commando2022@mccc.in by August 5.
