After Deepika Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash tendered no reply to a court summons for Wednesday, the NCB has revealed that they have been unable to contact her in any way until now. NCB Mumbai Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede revealed that the agency is still waiting for Karishma to acknowledge the summons.
The NCB has sent a notice to Karishma's mother as well as other employees at Kwan Talent Agency where she worked, in order to summon them for questioning since she appears to be missing.
In September, Karishma was questioned regarding her links to a suspected drugs mafia within Bollywood circles. The NCB had also earlier raided her residence, which resulted in 1.7 grams of hashish being seized.
