Samantha Ruth Prabhu marries Raj Nidimoru in a private ceremony at Isha Foundation

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru have officially confirmed their relationship and marriage, ending months of speculation with a quiet yet elegant reveal on Instagram.

The couple tied the knot on December 1, 2025, in an intimate ceremony held at Isha Foundation’s Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

In a statement, the Isha Foundation confirmed that the duo married in a Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony, a ritualistic wedding process rooted in yogic traditions.

The ceremony took place early Monday morning, attended only by close family members and friends.

Samantha marked the occasion on Instagram with a simple caption — the date, “01.12.2025” — alongside the first official photographs from the wedding.

The couple opted for understated elegance for their nuptials.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu wore a classic red silk saree, complemented with traditional gold jewellery. She styled her hair in a neat bun, keeping the look minimal yet regal.

Raj Nidimoru chose a white kurta–churidaar ensemble, paired with a beige Nehru jacket, staying true to a clean and traditional aesthetic.

Rumours about Samantha and Raj’s relationship began circulating in 2024 after the two were spotted together across multiple industry events and in casual glimpses on Samantha’s social media.

Their professional equation dates back to The Family Man Season 2, where Samantha starred, and Raj served as director. The two later collaborated on Citadel: Honey Bunny as well.

Their latest professional collaboration is the upcoming Netflix series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, where Samantha plays the lead, and Raj serves as co-creator and producer.

Samantha was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 until their separation in 2021. Raj Nidimoru was married to Shhyamali De from 2015 to 2022.
