A video shared by his fan club on X featured him saying, "There's a good thing - I'm not smoking anymore, guys. I thought I won't feel so breathless after quitting smoking, but I still feel it (the side-effects). Inshallah, that will also get ok."
It was in 2012, he was criticized for smoking in public at an IPL match. The match was between the Kolkata Knight Riders, which he owned, and Rajasthan Royals. He was fined Rs 100 after he pleaded guilty at a court in Jaipur, NDTV reported.
At the birthday event on Saturday, Khan was asked by a fan about the lesson he had learned from his children. In a witty response, he described his birthday morning.
He said, "I woke up late today because there was a dinner last night. So I woke up and went to spend some time with my little one... he was having his own issues. His I-Pad was not working. Then after that my daughter had a problem. She had some outfits which were not looking okay. The fitting was all wrong. Then my elder son..."
He said that he learnt from his family, pinpointing that the more children one has, the more patient they become. He carries this learning of patience, love and care from home to work. Patience is one big thing he learned from his family, he said.
