Mumbai: The 5th season of India's biggest digital award night on IWMBuzz award, was held on June 18th at the Westin Hotel, Mumbai.
Alia Bhatt starrer Darlings was selected as the best film and Vikramaditya Motwani was selected as the best director in the series category for Jubilee. The event witnessed the presence of Bollywood's favourite stars Rajkummar Rao, Manoj Bajpayee Arjun Kapoor, Prosanjit Chatterjee Aditi Rao Hydari, Bhuvan Bham Aparashakti Khurana etc.
Rajkummar Rao (Badhaai Do)and Vidya Balan (Jhalsa)are the best actors.
In the short film category, the film 'Yatri Kripaya Dhyan De', a comedy thriller on Amazon Mini TV, won 3 awards. Produced by Kerala’s renowned casting director (who did the casting for big budgeted movies like Kurup, Ottu and Ajayante Randam Moshanam) Yatri Kripya Dhyan De won best director ( Abhinav Singh), best actor ( Shaheer Sheikh ) and best casting/ensemble ( Shaneem Zayed).
