IIFA Awards 2025: Laapataa Ladies dominates with 10 wins, Kartik Aaryan wins Best Actor

The 25th edition of the IIFA Awards took place in Jaipur over the weekend, marking a milestone in celebrating excellence in Indian cinema.

The two-day event kicked off on March 8 with honours for outstanding contributions in OTT films and series, followed by the main awards ceremony dedicated to theatrical releases.

Kiran Rao’s critically acclaimed social dramedy, Laapataa Ladies, emerged as the night’s biggest winner, securing ten awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female). The film’s remarkable success reaffirmed its place as a standout cinematic achievement of the year.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan took home the Best Performance in a Leading Role (Male) award for his role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, while Raghav Juyal won Best Performance in a Negative Role for Kill.
