Dulquer Salmaan warns fans against fake X account

Actor Dulquer Salmaan has asked fans not to believe an X account that has been posing as him and posting comments in his name.

Dulquer took to X to clarify that the account @_dulQuer is not his real account. He said the profile describes itself as a parody account but regularly posts as though it were him, including comments about films and other actors and fake wishes to members of his family.

“Kindly requesting everyone to stop believing @_dulQuer to be my real account,” Dulquer said, adding that the account’s posts were causing “unnecessary confusion and negativity”.

The actor said he had already reported the account and filed an official complaint with X but was still waiting for a response from the platform.
