Berlin: Allu Arjun, representing Indian cinema at the Berlinale Film Festival, shared his expansive goals for the industry, focusing particularly on the Pushpa franchise and his upcoming projects.
During the festival, Allu Arjun was honoured at the India Pavilion, where he expressed his aspirations for Indian cinema.
Speaking about his plans for Pushpa, he emphasised turning it into a multi-part franchise, saying, "The conflict between Pushpa Raj and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, including the characterisation, presentation, scale of the film, and also the problems faced by the lead actor will be much bigger and better in Pushpa: The Rule. And we most certainly have plans to make Pushpa into a multi-part franchise."
Additionally, Allu Arjun disclosed, "I have a few interesting projects in the pipeline, and all of them will be made on an epic scale."
Pushpa: The Rule, the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, features an ensemble cast including Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Daali Dhananjaya, Sunil, and Anasuya.
Sukumar is directing and writing the film, produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movies. Rockstar DSP returns as the music composer.
With Pushpa: The Rule scheduled for release on August 15, 2024, the team is gearing up for an epic cinematic experience during the Independence weekend.
