Akshay Kumar reunites with Priyadarshan after 14 years for horror comedy 'Bhooth Bangla'

On his birthday, Akshay Kumar surprised fans with the announcement of his upcoming film Bhooth Bangla, marking his return to the horror-comedy genre.

The film also reunites him with acclaimed director Priyadarshan after a 14-year hiatus.

Sharing the first look on social media, Akshay expressed his excitement: "This dream collaboration has been a long time coming. I can't wait to share this incredible journey with you all."

The motion poster features Akshay posing with a bowl of milk, a black cat perched on his shoulder, while eerie music plays in the background, building suspense for the film.

Bhooth Bangla will be co-produced by Akshay Kumar’s production company and Ektaa Kapoor’s production house.

Akshay Kumar has a busy schedule with several projects lined up. He made a cameo appearance in Stree 2, hinting at a possible role in its next installment. Director Amar Kaushik revealed that Akshay’s involvement in Stree 3 would depend on the script.

Recently, Akshay was seen in Khel Khel Mein, alongside Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, and others, which competed at the box office against Stree 2 and Vedaa. Akshay's collaboration with Priyadarshan adds to their long list of successful films together, including Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Garam Masala. Fans are eagerly awaiting this much-anticipated reunion.
