Chennai: Kamal Haasan, actor and Makkal Neethi Maiam leader, assured that he would contest in the impending Tamil Nadu state assembly election. However, the constituency from which he would contest is yet to be decided, he added.
"Of course, I'm contesting in the upcoming elections. But the place is yet to be decided. When allies reach an understanding, there will be an announcement," Kamal Haasan said.
He added that Rajnikanth wouldn't be entering politics and revealed that he requested Rajni's support as a friend to a private channel.
He also noted that he wants Pinarayi Vijayan to become Chief Minister again in Kerala.
Chennai, Mylapore, Velachery, Madurai and Coimbatore constituencies are reportedly in consideration for Kamal Haasan.
