New York: The quadriplegic patient carrying Elon Musk’s Nuranlink chip in his head became the first to use social platform ‘ X’ by ‘ just thinking’.

Noland Arbaugh used NeuralInk's cybernetic implant in his brain to connect with X and thus posting on the site.

The 29-year-old gained worldwide attention days ago after Neuralink Corp. live-streamed an update showing Arbaugh playing video games and online chess.

After posting on the site, Arbaugh joked: ‘Twitter banned me because they thought I was a bot, and @X and @elonmusk reinstated me because I am.’

Elon Musk responded to Arbaugh's tweet, calling it the ‘First ever post made just by thinking, using the Neuralink Telepathy device!’

During his previous live-streaming Arbaugh moved the cursor on a computer without using any physical tools.

He said he could move the cursor by imagining where he wants it to go and it does.

Back then, he also said that he had given up playing the game Civilization VI but Neuralink ‘gave me the ability to do that again and played for 8 hours straight.’

Arbaugh, 29 sustained a spinal cord injury in a "freak diving accident" eight years ago while he was working as a summer camp counsellor for children in 2016.

Neuralink, a brain technology startup founded by Elon Musk, brought out an implant which allows quadriplegic patients to use their thoughts to control a computer.
