New York City resident Noah's favourite cartoon character is Spongebob. This immense love led the little boy to buy 918 SpongeBob popsicles on Amazon by accident.

Noah ordered 52 boxes consisting of 918 popsicles, and the items, worth 2618.86$ (Rs 1.91lakh), was delivered to Noah's relatives' house.

Though Noah's mother, Jennifer Bryant, informed Amazon about the mishap, they refused to retrieve the boxes. Jennifer, a social work student at Silver School in New York University and a mother of three, was left in a fix, unable to pay such a huge sum.

Jennifer wrote a post explaining the accident on the University's Facebook page for social work graduate student, bringing it to the attention of one of her classmates, Katie Schloss. Schloss launched a fundraising campaign via 'GoFundMe', and within 24 hours, the fund for Noah's lollipops was raised.

Around 600 people donated 15,306 dollars. The surplus amount received will go for the educational needs of Noah, who is suffering from autism, said Bryant.
