I am an alien. Yeah, I keep saying I'm an alien: Elon Musk
text_fieldsNew York: Billionaire Elon Musk recently said that there is no evidence of aliens, adding that ‘Maybe we're alone in this galaxy, maybe it's just us and our consciousness is extremely fragile.’
Musk however quirkily added at the recent appearance at the Viva Tech event in Paris that nobody believes him when he says he is an alien.
Responding to a question by the presenter about rumours of his extraterrestrial origins, Tesla Chief laughed and replied, "I am an alien. Yeah, I keep saying I'm an alien, but nobody believes me."
The question was raised at a session titled "Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Elon Musk But Were Afraid to Ask"
Musk addressed the program virtually and said he was unable to attend it in person as he was attending his son's graduation, according to Euronews.
Pointing out the potential elimination of life on Earth, he said "Something on Earth will eliminate life as we know it on Earth," and relocating to Mars or Moon is required for "our long-term survival and consciousness"
“SpaceX's long-term goal is to make life multi-planetary. We need to become a sustainable multi-planet civilization,’ he was quoted as saying.
Adding further he said, ‘This is the first time in the history of the Earth when it is possible to do so. That capability might be only open for the short term.’
Referring to artificial intelligence (AI), he criticised OpenAI and Google's Gemini saying that AI should be trained to be truthful rather than being politically correct, which he equated to ‘programming AI to lie’.
‘I think that will backfire very badly. Honesty is the best policy,’ he reportedly said.
