The FIR lodged by the police says that a large number of armed and uniformed personnel from the 160 TA unit, led by three officers, unauthorizedly entered the premises of Kupwara police station. Without any provocation, they severely assaulted the staff and officers present at the police station with rifle butts and sticks.
