India is unsurprisingly unhappy about the MJDA, though New Delhi has remained largely reticent, having maintained cordial relations with Saudi Arabia and Turkey despite their closeness to Pakistan, whose strengthened position could potentially embolden it to escalate the Kashmir conflict, although neither Turkey nor Saudi Arabia has suggested attacking India.
